Invite to Team

If you're a team owner, or if you have permission to manage members, you can add people to your team in three ways:

  1. Invite to team from team sidebar
  2. Invite to team from home dashboard
  3. Invite to team from team overview

Note: Team members can only be added on the Pro and Studio plans. See our Pricing page for details on upgrading your team. Free plans are limited to one team member. Sharing items with guests is completely free.

Inviting people to your team

When you add people directly, you can assign them the admin or member roles. You can add up to 10 people to your team at once. All invitees will receive an email notification and will be able to join the team right away — the invite will be active for 30 days. Once they have joined the team they will be able to create new projects and view/edit existing projects that have been shared with the whole team. Invited team members will also appear on the list of Active Users.

  1. In the team sidebar click the horizontal ellipsis.
  2. Select "Manage Team Members".

  1. Navigate to the home dashboard by clicking "Home" in the team sidebar.
  2. In the top right in the main navigation click "Invite to team".
  3. Add the email address of the user you wish to invite. (Optional: add a message)
  4. Select a team role for this user.
  5. Click "Invite".

  1. In the team sidebar select your team by clicking the team name.
  2. In the Overview page in the team section click "Invite to team".
  3. Add the email address of the user you wish to invite. (Optional: add a message)
  4. Select a team role for this user.
  5. Click "Invite".

Adding team members on the Pro & Studio plans

The team size is chosen when you create your team. The default size is 3 team members on the Pro plan and 10 team members on the Studio plan. New members can be invited at any point during your subscription period.

  • Team size is the number of paid seats in your subscription.
  • A team member is a user with full editing rights who takes a paid seat.
  • Users who were invited to a project with editing rights are automatically considered to be team members.
  • A vacant seat is considered to be taken when you send out the invitation.

Note: The cost of the new seats is prorated for the time remaining in your current subscription period (accurate up to a day), so your renewal dates for new seats will always coincide with your existing seats. If you have vacant seats during your subscription period and add a new member - no charge is applied.
