Passchendaele - World War One Remembered
The Cloth Hall is a large medieval commercial building, in Ypres, Belgium. The original structure lay in ruins after artillery fire devastated Ypres in World War I.
This impressive building was to be the stage to commemorate the Centenary of Passchendaele.
To commemorate the centenary of Passchendaele the impressive structure was projection mapped with images from the battle, along with footage of veterans recorded after the war.
As a Designer and Creative Director, Previz enabled us to design in a more informed way. In the past we have always designed flat, but using Previz we were able to look at how the designs might work with the complex building facade before going into the animation stage.
